Generative AI Course Fees in India: What Are You Paying For?

Two courses with the same fee and duration can provide very different value. Before looking at the price, compare: live contact hours versus recording access — some courses are primarily pre-recorded with optional live sessions. Assessment versus content consumption — does the course evaluate your work or just deliver content? Individual versus group review — is feedback personalised or generic? Guided project scope — are projects real engineering tasks or toy demos? Prerequisites — does the course assume skills you do not have? Calendar duration versus actual learning effort — a 24-week course at 4–5 hours per week is very different from a 24-week course at 15–20 hours per week.

A low-cost route can suit a prepared independent learner who needs structure but not feedback. A higher-priced programme adds: instructor time, personalised review of your work, a planned sequence that avoids wasted effort, and a study commitment the learner can sustain. The question is not 'is this course worth the fee?' but 'does the teaching and support model match what I need to progress?'

If you are comparing named providers, record: price, currency (INR for India), tax basis (inclusive or exclusive), list versus sale price, duration, format, relevant inclusions, and the date and source of the information.
